Blueberry Muffin Cookie
Meet your new crush: Blueberry Muffin Cookies. Buttery soft and loaded with bursts of juicy blueberries, these cookies are like a muffin’s flirty, wilder sibling. Vanilla undertones keep things fresh, while a touch of sugary streusel kisses the top. Perfect for lazy mornings or late-night cravings, they're the kind of sweet that keeps you coming back for more. One bite, and you’ll be smitten.
Notes: Vanilla & blueberry. Pairs well with a little morning pick me up, if you know what I'm saying.
Cranberry Carolyns
Chicago Tribune Cookie Contest 2024 Online Finalist
This cookie is a plussed up version of my late aunt’s signature cranberry-oatmeal cookie. The resulting recipe contains juicy cranberries inside of a holiday-spiced oatmeal cookie with an intriguing cripsy, yet cakey texture that gives a really satisfying bite. To ground it all, the bottoms are dipped in a 72% cacao dark chocolate.
Notes: Cranberry, oatmeal, winter spices. Pairs well with holiday shopping lists and mistletoe kisses.
Make Out With Me Cookies
These cookies are meant to feel like the best make out of your life. Imagine sinking in, warm and soft, as the outer edge gives way to a gooey, melt-in-your-mouth center. There’s a hint of crunch, just enough to keep things exciting, followed by the rush of rich chocolate melting in sync with the buttery dough. It’s the kind of treat that leaves you breathless, tasting it long after the last bite, craving just one more moment.
Notes: Butterscotch, chocolate, coconut, pecans and toffee. All the good stuff in one sweet place. Pairs well with a reckless abandon.
Boneless Chocolate Chip Cookie
Imagine a chocolate chip cookie, but without the chocolate chips. The bottoms are then dipped in milk chocolate, so you get the same amount of chocolate and brown butter cookie batter in every bite.
Notes: Brown butter and milk chocolate. Pairs well with consistent little steps towards your goals and the comfiest chair in the sunniest window.
Pound Cake with Cardamom Glaze
This is my Great Aunt Erna's signature recipe. It contains nearly a full dozen eggs and weighs several pounds when fully baked. I've really been loving cardamom lately, so we're cozying the cake up even further with a spice glaze.
Notes: Vanilla and sugar in a not-too-sweet bite. Pairs well with your cutest porcelain plate from the second hand store and writing love letters to your future self.
